- Hi,
-
- I was undecided as to where to ask this question but here goes.
-
- I would like to purchase a new laser printer for my A2000 system but several of
- the models I like have specs that read something to the effect that :
-
- "Requires 386sx/16 or better, 4 megs ram, 10.5 megs hd space, and Windows 3.1
- or 95"
-
- Do these printers absolutely need to be attached to a pc running windows to
- operate? Seems like my A2000 should be able to more than meet the specs above
- but...
-
- The units I were thinking about are the NEC Superscript 660 (PCL 5 and PS Level
- 2 emulation - only through win 95 drivers though :-(. Also many of the other
- lasers say similar things on their spec sheets. What gives?
-
- Is anyone using a new HP 4L, Panasonic, or NEC laser with their Amiga systems?
-
- Thanks in advance.
-
- Eric
